Clarinet in a black cloud of acrylic paint

I love the Beauty and the Sound of this Instrument.

In Greece, where I lived many Years, the Clarinet is a very often used Instrument in the Folklore Music. And not to forget to mention „Peter and the Wolf“ from Sergej Prokofjew. The Charakter of the Cat is being represented by the Clarinet.

I used black acrylic Paint and Guache, to photograph a thick, black Cloud in a Glass Container filled with Water, which I then embedded the Clarinet vertically.

The Cone of Light under the Clarinet’s Funnel is intended to symbolize the Sound that illuminates the Scene.

Technically speaking, the Challenge was to photograph a black Clarinet on a black Cloud against a black Background, but in such a Way, that all the Elements can been seen separately.
