Just Coffee

How about a hot Cup of Coffee, or maybe with some Milk?

Here is a Shot of a Cup of Coffee on roasted Coffee Beans. The Idea was a Shot of hot Coffee after the Beans were ground.

The Picture was created using a 3-Light Setup. 2 Lights behind a Diffusor. The first Light slightly above and behind the Shooting Table to create a nice Highlight on the Foam in the Mug. The second from the Left to expose the Grinder and the glossy Cup without creating a Spotlight. The third Light is on the Right, using a Snoot as Modifier, hitting the Scene on a shallow Angle to make the Texture of the Coffee Beans visible.

Finally, artificial Steam was added in post Production, to give the Idea of hot Coffee.

Hope you like it, I am gonna make me some hot Coffee now …
